This is a “Bench Design & Signature Form” filled out by the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) student organization. The document includes drawings and designs for bench painting, and it features sketches of images and symbols that reflect the organization’s mission and values.
The first panel is the Back Rest/Front View. It has a white background on which are a series of geometric designs and the ASME logo: “ASME” written in green lettering with yellow and green Mason feather design above the M and half of a wheel cog, colored yellow. In the left upper corner is an oblong shape with an infinity symbol, dots, and yellow and black lines; to the right is a dashed line. Directly to the left of the logo is another oblong shape with a globe, a division symbol, and a multiplication symbol in the center. Directly to the lower right is a semi circle with an addition symbol in the center. To the upper right is an oblong shape with a lightning bolt, a pound sign, a half charged batter, and an exclamation point in the middle. Below that is another oblong shape with “ME” and a pi symbol in the center. On the far right is the symbol of a plane and a dashed line representing flight trails in the sky.
The middle panel is the Seat View. “Engineer” is written on the bottom left in yellow and black lettering. Above it are the drawings of a lightbulb and a screwdriver. A computer chip is surrounded by a black-outlined oblong shape. In the center, “Tech” is written in yellow and black lettering and encircled by an oblong shape; below it is the drawing of a tape measure. An oblong shape to the right has two green cogs in the center, one large and one small. Above it to the right is a drawing of a double sided wrench. Next to it is another oblong shape with an adjustable stanley wrench in the middle. A dashed line is drawn vertically on the right.
The bottom panel is the Back Rest/Back View. “American Society of Mechanical Engineers” is written at the top center in black lettering. Below it is “Setting the Standard” in yellow lettering. Both are typeface and set against a white background.
