Description

This scanned image displays a “Bench Design & Signature Form” completed by the Kappa Delta student organization. There is an image between the filled out name, date, and signature portions that displays a hand-drawn bench design featuring three labeled panels to display the different views or parts of the proposed bench. The three panels each have a green colored background with various illustrations and text with labels to indicate their colors.
The “Seat” panel displays at its center the statement “Building Confidence / Inspiring Action / Since 1897,” in semi-cursive writing and in a layered-text format. The text is surrounded by two flowers on the left of the text and three on the right, with labels indicating they are white colored flowers with green leaves.
The “Back Rest/front View” panel depicts the name “Kappa Delta” with labels indicating that it will be outlined in black and white. Next to the text is a large white flower, and along the borders of the panel are vines that are labeled to be outlined in white and black.
The “Back Rest/Back View” panel displays nine stars labeled to be white surrounding a central image of two hands labeled to be outlined in white and black. The hand on the left displays three fingers (the middle, index, and thumb), and the hand on the right shows the thumb and index fingers touching the thumb and index of the left side hand. Underneath the hands are two unintelligible words labeled to be colored black.
