Description
-
This is a bench painting application for the Brazilian Student Association at Mason student organization. Their proposed design is as follows:
Front of the back rest: A pictorial scene of Rio de Janeiro from behind the Cristo Redentor, looking down at the city from the air. Most of the scene is taken up by the city’s bay, with skyscrapers visible only at the top left and bottom right corners. Three islands are present. The scene is rendered in a realistic style with shades of blues, greens, grays, and browns. The buildings are in black.
Seat: Depicts a stylized, stretched version of the left half of the Brazilian flag. Most of the scene is green, with a yellow triangle stretching out from the right edge towards the center of the seat. A blue hemisphere with the words “Ordem e” is on the left edge.
Back of the back rest: Large text across the back rest reads BRASA, the acronym of the organization in Portuguese. The year 2023 is in the bottom right. The background is made of green and yellow alternating stripes. These colors are associated with Brazil and the Brazilian flag.
