Abstract: The Student Government created an initiative to raise money to erect a statue of George Mason. The donations are expected to come from student organizations and the intake period is to last several years.

SG hopes this statue will establish a sense of tradition on campus. The statue is estimated to cost between $30,000-$50,000.
