Artifacts from the larger of two pits including a bottle seal with George Mason's initials and the date 1760, a cowrie shell from the Caribbean, and pieces of petrified wood found in sub-floor pits where slave dwellings used to stand. Cobbles from the smaller of the two pits set vertically and in a spiral pattern
