1880- Earliest Deed that could be found with grantee: William Robertson and Sarah Robinson. Granter is Sallie Mason. Mentions granting an extra half acre in case the "road" gets in the way of the property. The location is in Little Hunting Creek which is in Mount Vernon which is seen within both 1886 and 1894 land taxes. It's important to notice that we could not find an explicit deed that showed the land ownership going to William Robertson to Sarah Robinson when William Robertson died. However, she is mentioned in the first deed even though they were married in 1888 officially. Sallie Mason also sold land to people that were previously enslaved by her family.
