Lucy Randolph The Court and the attorney for the Commonwealth and Robert T. Wicker coroner; earnestly recommend to the Executive to commute the punishment of the said slave Lucy, to sale and transportation, because of her youth and the excellent character which she has borne up to the time of this crime, the Court certifying that they have never known a better character than was proved by many respectable witnesses to have been borne by the said slave Lucy up to that period.
